You will be able to discover the high-tech equipment used in Biomechanics Research, available at our University, through practical classes and laboratorial visits assisted by professors and researchers of this field of studies. Despite all of the irresistible academic activities we have planned, you will also have the opportunity to visit the beautiful city of Aveiro and the surrounding areas, such as Praia da Barra and its charming beachside. BEST Aveiro is one of the 96 local groups of the Board of European Students of Technology (BEST), one of the most active organisations in the University of Aveiro, a beautiful town in the Portuguese Coast. The main goal of BEST is to bring closer our three stakeholders: students, universities and companies. Therefore, BEST provides three main services: complementary education, career support and educational involvement. The organisation aims to develop students and their working capacities on an international level, creating opportunities and empowering diversity. To fulfill this purpose, the 50 members of BEST Aveiro strive to organise about 20 events per year, including Engineering Competitions, Seasonal Courses and Soft-Skills Training Sessions, reaching more than 500 students.

Each one of our participants will be hosted at the University of Aveiro residences. Every bedroom is furnished with one bed, one wardrobe, one desk and one washbasin. The bathroom will be shared by two people. The internet connection will be 24 hours available through the University's WiFi network.
